Shakespeare in Springtime!

Have no fear, Shakespeare is here! This class, designed to be fast and fun, will include the participants' reading aloud, personal selection, and theatrical presentation of dramatic and comedic speeches and scenes from his writings. We will use lines, scenes, and monologues from the Shakespeare's plays to tackle and conquer Shakespearean language, rhythm, and structure in order to give class tools to confidently perform "The Bard" For "All the World's A Stage..." - at Showcase and Beyond! A final presentation of Shakespeare will be given for the public at the Infinite Joy Studios - Spring Showcase at the end of the semester!

Acting without a script? That's Improv! This class teaches basic improvisational skills as well as perfecting students' abilities to think on their feet! Students will learn how to create a scene, character, and conflict in a manner of seconds as they master the rules of improvisational acting. A final, audience-interactive improv show will be presented at the Infinite Joy Studios - Spring Showcase at the end of the semester!

Musical Theater Stage Crew: Singin' in the Rain Jr.

Singin' in the Rain, Jr. Performances: May 1-3, 2026
Come discover the techniques of musical theater production! Students will learn the fundamentals of theatrical design and be directly involved in properties and set construction, painting, backstage organization, theater terminology and script analysis. Crew will be in charge of moving
scenery on/off stage, keeping track of properties and assisting backstage during the performances. We invite you to join us in this new encouraging team building experience at Infinite Joy Studios this semester!
**Stage Crew Members will be expected to attend all tech week rehearsals and assist in the May live performances of Singin' in the Rain JR. May 1-3, 2026.
